The purpose of Strategic Business Development Team Leader role is to develop and implement a business development strategy, strengthening Girteka Logistics competitive advantage and driving sustainable sales growth. The position is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, closing strategic deals, and building long-term client partnerships. This is a leadership and strategic role requiring close collaboration across commercial, operations, pricing, and other internal teams. You will lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Development Project Managers team to ensure professional representation of Girteka Logistics in the international B2B market.

What can you expect your day to look like?
- Lead, coach and support the team of Business Development Project Managers.
- Together with your team create and implement the business development strategy for key business customers in Western Europe.
- Identify and develop Girteka Logistics unique selling propositions and competitive differentiators.
- Drive and close new business deals by coordinating customer requirements, leading negotiations, integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Translate commercial agreements into operational execution in close cooperation with internal teams.
- Set short- and long-term goals for the team and actively support their achievement.
- Ensure consistent, professional representation of Girteka Logistics across all client interactions.
What do we expect from you?
- Proven leadership experience managing sales team responsible for business development and enterprise sales.
- Strong experience in international B2B sales and/or business development.
- Knowledge of logistics – is advantage.
- Ability to work effectively across functions and influence stakeholders at different levels.
- Excellent sales, negotiations, communication and problem solving skills.
- Ability to present yourself, also open and enjoying interaction with people.
- Passion for challenges and high achievement orientation.
- Excellent English and Lithuanian language skills (both oral and written).

- Base monthly salary: from 4310€ to 5390€ (before tax). The specific salary offered will depend on the candidate‘s experience, competencies displayed and suitability to the requirements of the position.
