Golang Software Engineer

About the role

We're looking for a Golang Developer to join our backend engineering team. You'll work on our existing logistics and pricing solutions in an environment where the product landscape is continually evolving, and new applications are regularly built alongside existing systems. 

What you will do:

• Design, build, and maintain REST APIs and backend microservices in Go.
• Develop and maintain services deployed on GCP Kubernetes Engine, as well as serverless functions on AWS Lambda.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases - schema design, query optimization, migrations.
• Build and maintain event-driven flows using SQS and GCP Pub/Sub.
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code following established team patterns and conventions.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
• Contribute to technical documentation and architecture discussions.

What we expect from you:

• Proven experience in software development, with hands-on production experience using Go.
• Solid understanding of Go idioms: goroutines, channels, error handling, interfaces.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Practical experience with MySQL - writing efficient queries, understanding indexing, transactions, and schema design.
• Experience with NoSQL/document databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB, or similar).
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch for search/aggregation use cases.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with serverless computing (AWS Lambda) is a strong plus.
• Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows (PRs, code review).
• Understanding of testing practices in Go (unit tests, table-driven tests, mocking).
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Base monthly salary: from 3350 to 4190 EUR (before tax). The final offer will depend on the candidate’s experience, competencies, and overall fit for the role.
