Your Responsibilities
- Contribute to the broad range of Contract drafting and reviewing of the Girteka group, including but not limited to identifying and addressing relevant legal risks (penalties, fines, damages and losses limitations etc.).
- Provide support to Finance, Sales, Development departments and other teams with Contracting related matters, including but not limited to negotiations and consultations.
- Review and draft a range of corporate-related policies, and procedures.
- Take ownership of certain corporate policies and procedures implement relevant changes.
- Take charge of assigned legal issues across all relevant jurisdictions where Girteka operates.
- Work together with the rest of the Legal, and other teams on a wide array of legal issues arising from Girteka operations, not strictly limited towards your area of core expertise.
- Collaborate with external counsels on the above matters.
Our expectations
- A lawyer with 5+ years of experience in a law firm or as an in-house counsel.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Contracting.
- The skills, willingness, and initiative to own legal issues across many different jurisdictions, drive projects and collaborate with team members and colleagues across the business.
- Excellent at communicating in spoken and written English.
- Someone who’s ready to commit and take accountability.
- Someone who seeks out additional responsibility and uses initiative to problem solve and future proof the business.
