Salesforce Engineer

Main Purpose of the Job

The Salesforce Engineer helps build and maintain Salesforce features that support our business teams across Sales and Service Cloud. Working under the guidance of senior peers, you will contribute to automation, integrations, and user-experience improvements while developing your skills in Salesforce development.

What can you expect your day to look like?

• Solution Development: Contribute to Salesforce features using Flows, Apex, and Lightning Web Components, starting with well-scoped tasks and growing in complexity over time.
• Configuration: Help set up and adjust automation, assignment rules, macros, and quick actions to improve user productivity across Sales and Service Cloud.
• Bug Fixing: Investigate and resolve issues reported by business users, with support from senior engineers when needed.
• Integration Support: Assist with maintaining integrations between Salesforce and other systems, including channels such as chat, email, or telephony.
• Documentation: Keep technical notes, configuration records, and runbooks up to date for the features you work on.
• Learning & Growth: Work towards Salesforce certifications and develop your skills with the support of more senior peers.

What do we expect from you?

• Foundational Experience: Salesforce development or administration experience through work, internships, bootcamps, or Trailhead Superbadges.
• Development Basics: Working knowledge of Flows and exposure to Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components; willingness to deepen these skills quickly.
• Platform Awareness: Familiarity with core Salesforce concepts across Sales and/or Service Cloud (formal experience in both not required).
• Quality Mindset: Careful with changes, open to code review feedback, and committed to learning good testing and deployment habits.
• Problem Solver: Able to break problems into smaller steps and ask for help at the right time rather than getting stuck.
• Collaboration: A proactive communicator who works well with peers and business stakeholders.
