PMO Manager

Main Purpose of the Job

Accountable for one or more medium projects that are relatively low to medium complexity with a small- to medium-sized team. Focuses on the creation of the project vision and planning documents and manages the implementation, reporting, and performance of the overall project with the expectation of delivering on time, within budget, and to scope.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support strategic projects and programmes in all stages of their delivery lifecycle
  • Take primary responsibility for creating, implementing and improving strategic project management & governance policies
  • Educate strategic project managers & their stakeholders on applying mandatory project management policies and best practices
  • Oversee and ensure quality of strategic project status reporting, support quality information flow to the top executive stakeholders
  • Provide support developing and ensuring quality of key project documentation
  • Monitor, analyse and control project budgets and actual spend, provide insights to Business Unit leaders on deviations
  • Maintain and actively participate in configuring project/ portfolio management software Planview PPM Pro, based on the needs of the organisation (programming skills are not required)
  • Support post-project benefit tracking, in cooperation with Girteka’s Business Units’ CFO

Our expectations

  • 3-4 years of experience in PMO/ project management field
  • Strong knowledge of project management processes and practices, experience in applying classic project management methodologies
  • Ability to work simultaneously on several initiatives and prioritise appropriately
  • Excellent English and Lithuanian skills
  • Strong self-management skills
  • “Can do” attitude
  • Interpersonal skills, finding joy in providing support service
  • Project management certificate (e.g. PRINCE2 or P3O) is a plus

The specific salary offered will depend on the candidate‘s experience, competencies displayed, and suitability to the requirements of the position.
