Long Term Pricing Specialist

About the role
Long Term Pricing Specialists develop and manage pricing strategies for long-term contracts by analyzing costs, market trends, competitor pricing, and customer demand. Calculate profitable pricing, support sales and business teams during tenders, monitor pricing performance, and provide data-driven insights to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
What you will do:
- Responding to received requests for price calculation within the deadlines set in the tenders/inquiries.
- Forming and supervising tasks performed by other pricing specialists in assigned tenders, and generating tender results reports.
- Performing tender/request calculations based on pricing strategy, service pricing rates, customer history, potential assessment, and prioritization based on timelines and customer importance.
- Contributing to the implementation of operating income and margin plans by evaluating freight balances and providing pricing that meets market and company needs.
- Contributing to price reviews and making suggestions for improvement based on the analysis of won/lost tenders, margin analysis, and targeted profitability of services.
- Participating in meetings with customers during price negotiations and representing the Pricing department.
What we expect from you:
- Higher education (preferably in Econometrics, Economics, Mathematical Statistics, or Finance).
- Strong analytical abilities, with an advanced proficiency in MS Excel and computer-based data analysis.
- Diligence, precision, and the ability to handle and process large amounts of information efficiently.
- Ability to independently make informed, data-driven decisions and confidently justify your reasoning.
- Good command of English and Lithuanian.
- Experience in transportation, familiarity with market dynamics, and a keen interest in analyzing market changes and trends.

- Base monthly salary: from €2330 to €2910 (before tax). The specific salary offered will depend on the candidate‘s experience, competencies displayed and suitability to the requirements of the position.
