Lawyer

Your Responsibilities:

• Monitoring relevant legal acts, continuously monitoring, summarizing analyses, and presenting to different departments. Conducting presentations, training, and consulting.
• Managing and coordinating cases related to illegal migrants. Administering company accreditations.
• Coordinating and managing IMI (Internal Market Information System) requests.
• Participating in customer audits according to competence.
• Identifying, assessing, and managing legal risks and compliance.
• Preparing and evaluating various activity-related documents, participating in negotiations, and representing the company's position.
• Initiating process improvements to meet business needs.
• Accepting responsibility for assigned legal matters in the respective jurisdictions in which Girteka operates.

Our expectations:

• University legal education.
• A lawyer with 2+ years of experience in a law firm or as an in-house counsel.
• Experience in the areas of migration, the legal status of foreigners, and the legal regulation of employment in Lithuania and/or abroad would be an advantage.
• Experience in international transport and logistics would be an advantage.
• Experience in compliance and legal risk management would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.
• Communication in the language of another EU country would be an advantage.
• Russian language skills would be an advantage.
• Business-oriented and result-driven attitude, with problem-solving skills.
• Striving for continuous improvement and seeking additional responsibilities.
• Focus on “how” instead of “no.”

• Base monthly salary: from €2650 to €3320 (before tax). The specific salary offered will depend on the candidate‘s experience, competencies displayed and suitability to the requirements of the position.
