Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure company activities comply with labor laws and contracts; make and implement proposals for compliance.
  • Monitor migration, foreign employment regulations in Lithuania and other countries; assess and manage risks.
  • Prepare and evaluate documents, participate in negotiations, and represent the company.
  • Assess legal risks in labor law and propose management strategies.
  • Advise employees on labor law issues in EU and CIS countries.
  • Represent the company in legal disputes, including courts and labor commissions.
  • Monitor legal changes and implement necessary adjustments.
  • To oversee matters related to transport company trade unions.
  • Handle assigned legal issues in all Girteka’s operational regions.

Our expectations

  • University degree in law.
  • 2+ years of experience as a lawyer in a law firm or in-house.
  • Experience in migration, foreign legal status, and employment law in Lithuania or abroad is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of labor law.
  • Excellent spoken and written Russian skills.
  • Good spoken and written English skills.
  • Business-oriented, result-driven, and problem-solving attitude.
  • Committed to continuous improvement and seeking additional responsibilities.
  • Focus on finding solutions rather than saying no.
