Health, Safety and Environmental Specialist

In this position, you’ll oversee external HSE service providers, ensuring compliance with Lithuanian regulations while collaborating with both local and global teams. Your Responsibilities:

  • Work with external HSE service companies responsible for ensuring compliance with Lithuanian health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
  • Collaborating with international and local HS teams and external HSE service companies to implement safety and environmental initiatives.
  • Monitoring legal compliance and coordinating mandatory HSE procedures through external providers.
  • Supporting audits, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Participating in organization of legally required HSE and fire safety training with external trainers.
  • Cooperation with external providers to ensure proper HSE documentation, risk assessments, and compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Driving improvements in HSE systems and environmental initiatives.
  • The role is focused more on supervising than taking direct actions, with support from both international and local H&S teams.

Our expectations:

  • Higher education, in the field of public health sciences, environmental protection - an advantage.
  • Occupational Health and Safety specialist certificate.
  • Knowledge of legislation governing health and safety.
  • Knowledge of environmental legislation.
  • Having knowledge in ISO14001, ISO45001, internal audit – an advantage.
  • Experience in implementing, maintaining health, safety and environmental system requirements.
  • English level B2.

  • Base monthly salary: from €2760 to €3450 (before tax). The specific salary offered will depend on the candidate‘s experience, competencies displayed and suitability to the requirements of the position.
