Head of Transport Development Department

Main Purpose of the Job

Transport Development department includes such functions:

  • Transport functions management division
  • Trainings Center in Lithuania & Poland
  • Project management division
  • Environmental, health & safety function across the countries.

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective operations of Transport business Development department, including management structure, team management, budget set up and follow up, coordination of fleet set up between countries, drivers’ motivation and quality, etc.
  • Focus on cost efficiency, quality, margin, and customer-service strategies
  • Create valuable cooperation with commercial business units
  • Ensure implementation of Mobility package
  • Take responsibility and participate in strategic projects
  • Bring ideas and implement new initiatives to improve cost efficiency
  • Maintain network with external parties related to logistics business
  • Represent Business area when necessary, inside and outside organization

  • At least 3 years of experience in logistics and/or business development area
  • Excellent negotiations, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a pace complex environment and develop opportunities to a success
  • Strong leadership skills,
  • Successful track record in leading diverse teams
  • Proven track record in collaborating among senior management, business and functional leaders
  • Strategic view, strong conceptual skills
  • Open to travel periodically
  • Excellent command of English and Russian
