Your Responsibilities

Head of Regional Business Department will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the operational efficiency and profitability of logistics activities within the assigned region. This role involves strategic planning, team management, and continuous improvement to meet key performance indicators (KPIs). Head of Regional Business Department will ensure optimal resource utilization, control sales fluctuations, maintain high work standards, and foster collaboration across various departments.

  • Create and implement regional sales and logistics plans that follow the company’s global strategy.
  • Optimize fleet profitability through proper execution of capacity control.
  • Monitor load balance to enhance regional profitability. Collaborate with needed departments to escalate challenges and address raised issues, ensure effective solutions are implemented.
  • Align the regional sales team with the global sales team, focusing on regional fluctutations and targeted regional sales.
  • Manage the regional budget, ensuring financial objectives are met and resources are allocated effectively.
  • Identify potential risks related to logistics operations and sales, and develop action plans to mitigate these risks.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and continuously assess logistics processes. Propose improvements for efficiency and effectiveness, working with responsible departments to enhance operational performance.
  • Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing regional team. Set performance goals, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that promotes high performance and teamwork across departments.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and company policies. 

Our Expectations

  • Professional background in road transportation operations (own fleet and/or spedition) with a career history in logistics or supply chain management.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a logistics role with leadership responsibilities, particularly in road operations.
  • Proven experience in implementing operational improvements and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Extensive knowledge of industry regulations and quality standards.
  • Experience working with clients, understanding the market and client needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize resource allocation to drive cost-effective operations and enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
