Head of Project Management Office

 

We are seeking a highly experienced international and highly driven person to join our Transformation Office team as the Head of the Project Management Office. In this role, you will be responsible for aligning our major 2023-2028 vision and strategic initiatives to deliver a x2 increase in company value over a 3-5 years horizon.

This includes setting direction for new ways to execute strategic level top initiatives, as well as overseeing the full portfolio of business growth technology, regulatory, and people-related projects. 

Your Responsibilities

  • Work with the Group's C-suite and Chief Transformation Officer to ensure that all transformations needed for the core business are converted into the right initiatives, managed effectively, and executed with speed, capturing value at the end.
  • Lead and build a new vision for the PMO based on the 2023-2028 vision. This includes revising how strategic initiatives are initiated and managed, how the rest of the portfolio is structured and prioritized, and establishing simple but powerful governance to track projects moving through the value stream.
  • Be sparring partner for C, C-1 teams to growth maturity of execution over the years. Today we execute 72% initiatives on time and agreed frame but we want to be best in the industry across logistics competitors hence attitude of never settle is key.
  • Lead a team of highly talented internal individuals and external industry experts to ensure that all initiatives are overseen, resourced, and well-covered under the PMO umbrella.
  • Act as C-1 leadership team member of Transformation office that cover all technology & engineering, enterprise architecture, strategic transformational changes, global business services, and global process management teams. Main aim of what we will tackle as team – is to double the company value over 3-5 years and transform all group to data powerhouse in logistic industry by making all data and decisions well linked together.

Our Expectations

  • 8+ years of extensive experience in project and programme management, business transformations, in a complex and fast-paced international environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in leadership roles, with a proven ability to manage international, experienced project, and portfolio management teams. Exceptional leadership and team-management skills, with a proven ability to inspire, motivate, and influence individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple large-scale projects and portfolios. Excellent understanding of different project execution styles, from waterfall to complete Agile or Hybrid.
  • Experience in creating strong business benefit frameworks that allow for capturing maximum value from strategic initiatives.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management abilities, with a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in English (C2 level).
  • Possession of relevant certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Managing Successful Programmes (MSP), PRINCE2, or PPSO is highly preferred.
