Currently we are looking for Head of Procurement Department to join Girteka’s management team!

Your Responsibilities

We are aiming for an experienced and successful professional who will lead organization's procurement function and ensure acquisitions of a large portfolio services and goods bought by Girteka internationally. You will manage the budged of 800 mln. EUR for fuel, roads, ferries, IT, maintenance, spare parts, and administrative categories. You will ensure that purchases meet organizational needs, while helping to reduce costs, give higher profit margins or both. Also, you will be establishing the processes and policies to guide acquisitions throughout Girteka, planning strategic partnership with suppliers. Leading the team of 19 people, responsible for different geographical areas, projects and products, you will be responsible for their personal development and success.

Our Expectations

  • Strong business acumen and commercial approach.
  • Experience of operating and influencing at a strategic level.
  • Proven track record in strategic large portfolio purchasing (goods and services) in a leadership role.
  • Experience of best practice procurement strategies and the use of associated procurement tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to present data and strategies in a simple and meaningful way to support decision making.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Openness to innovation and ability to deal with change particularly when dealing with new technologies.
  • Advanced proficiency in English (C2 level).
