Ferry Specialist

About the role

Purchases materials, parts, supplies, and equipment following established purchasing policies and procedures and optimizes price, delivery, and terms.

What can you expect your day to look like?

  • Oversee ferry bookings and ensure smooth coordination.
  • Communicate with ferry operators and manage ongoing relations.
  • Assist internal stakeholders by resolving order-related issues promptly.
  • Monitor and inform relevant departments about ferry route changes.
  • Be responsible for ferry-related data accuracy.
  • Handle invoice verifications.
  • Contribute to cost-avoidance/cost-saving practices.
  • This is an onsite role based at our workplace. Upon mutual agreement, you will participate in an on-call rotation a couple of times per week, during which you will be available to answer phone calls outside of regular working hours. This additional responsibility is compensated with additional pay.

What we expect from you?

  • Very good Lithuanian and English skills (both spoken and written).
  • Quick learner who adapts well to changes and takes responsibility for assigned tasks.
  • Effective communicator who collaborates easily with different teams and stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, handling tasks with consistency, quality, and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to structure daily tasks and workflow.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, Excel). Prior experience with SAP TM or Microsoft Dynamics AX systems is an advantage. 
  • Prior experience in logistics/operations/customer care or a related field is an advantage.

Base monthly salary

From 1930 to 2420 EUR (before tax). The final offer will depend on the candidate’s experience, competencies, and overall fit for the role.
