Chief of Staff is supporting the CEO in shaping and executing Girteka Group’s overall vision. This role is pivotal in aligning cross-functional efforts, optimizing organizational effectiveness, and ensuring the successful implementation of key strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, communication and management skills, a deep understanding of strategic planning, and robust financial acumen to guide budgeting, financial planning, and performance analysis. They will play a key role in influencing and steering the organization towards its long-term goals, ensuring financial health and strategic alignment across all functions.

Your Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Direction: Translate Girteka’s strategy and business plan into actionable steps within the business area or department

• Group Strategy Shaping: Lead and moderate the development and refinement of the Girteka Group’s overall strategy

• Strategic Business Planning: Lead the development of annual business plans that align with the Group’s strategy

Operations Strategy & Management: Support the execution of the Group’s strategic objectives by translating them into actionable operational plans

Organization Structure & Strategy Alignment: Contribute to the design and refinement of the organization’s structure to ensure it supports the Group’s strategic objectives

Board meeting preparations & Strategic Advisory: Cultivate and enhance relationships with board members by addressing strategic priorities

Communications: Prepare presentations and materials to effectively communicate the Group’s strategic vision

Our Expectations

We are seeking a candidate with a Master's Degree or Equivalent Level, along with 10+ years of experience in business strategy consulting and relevant strategy implementation project management work in a B2B services environment. Experience in the supply chain and logistics industry would be an advantage.

  • Strategic Acumen: The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the logistics industry and market trends, along with the ability to develop and implement long-term strategic plans. A proactive approach to identifying and addressing future challenges, strong analytical skills, and the ability to evaluate complex data are essential.

 

  • Finance Skills: While not required to be a finance expert, the candidate should be able to read and interpret financial documents and reports, as well as possess a foundational understanding of financial principles to support strategic decision-making. Engaging with financial data and assessing its impact on strategic initiatives is crucial.

 

  • Executive Leadership: The candidate should have the ability to build strong relationships with executive leadership and stakeholders, along with effective communication and negotiation skills. Demonstrated ability to influence and persuade others is important for this role.

 

  • Operational Excellence: Strong project management skills, the ability to drive process improvement and innovation, and the demonstrated ability to manage change effectively are key attributes for this position.

 

  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: The candidate should be able to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions, make strong decisions even under pressure, and think critically and strategically.

 

  • Effectively Presents Solutions: Operating as a recognized expert in presenting potential resolutions or strategies, communicating and articulating solutions clearly and compellingly, and tailoring presentations to address specific challenges or meet organizational needs are important skills for this role.
