Business Process Manager (for Transport Business Unit)

Girteka is currently undergoing a process and technology transformation to achieve its ambitious 2026 strategic targets. As a critical element to support this transformation, a position of Global Process Owner has been established in each of the four Business Units in Girteka to facilitate process improvement in those BUs. The position you are applying for reports to the Global Process Owner in the Transport Business Unit, where together with a team of other dedicated Business Process Managers you will be improving processes and operations relating to the search, hiring and training of truck drivers, their on-base support activities and the maintenance of trucks and trailers.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Together with the Transport leadership team, leading value stream and/or process improvement projects in the areas of truck maintenance, driver management, driver recruitment and training.
  • Carrying out value stream and process diagnostics to identify root causes for underperformance and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Creating process models, carrying out analysis for and acting as change agent for Transport in the digital transformation program run by the Chief Transformation Office across all of Girteka’s business units.
  • Providing training and guidance to department managers, team leads and experts in the areas of structured problem solving, capacity, performance management, process documentation, implementation of standard work and change management.

Our Expectations:

  • A strong track record of value stream and/or process improvement work in the previous role(s), either in the manufacturing or the services industry.
  • Able to demonstrate understanding of Lean thinking and application of different process improvement concepts and methods, such as Value stream analysis, PDCA, workload levelling, Takt, Kaizen Teian, FMEA and/or others.
  • Able to apply the fundamentals of statistical analysis – sample size calculation, Pareto analysis, distribution normality assessment, hypothesis testing and others.
  • Able to explain and teach process improvement concepts, both in theory and through practice.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects to complete within expected timelines, on target and on budget.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Intermediate Russian or Polish would be an added advantage.
  • Recent experience in managing operations/production is an added advantage.

The specific salary offered will depend on the candidate‘s experience, competencies displayed and suitability to the requirements of the position.
