Main Purpose of the Job
Support the financial controlling department with economic and financial analysis necessary for the operational and strategic management of the company or the business unit. Prepare financial analysis, reports, and budget forecasts. Participate in the company's monthly and yearly closing. Contribute to the design and management of the budget process. Prevent inaccuracies in financial statements by setting up internal control systems and adopting proper policies for financial reporting. Review financial data periodically to ensure its fairness and completeness. Assist in special projects whenever asked.
What can you expect your day to look like?
- Analyze financial data and risks, identify key issues, and recommend controls to support financial stability and growth.
- Support month-end closings by preparing, reviewing, and validating financial statements.
- Compare actuals vs. budget, analyze variances, and deliver insights to boost performance.
- Monitor costs, prepare reports, suggest improvements, and oversee execution.
- Lead and coordinate budgeting efforts with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with accounting, managers, and stakeholders to streamline processes.
- Advise managers on financial and budget-related matters.
- Work with IT to implement business requirements.
What do we expect from you?
- Work experience in financial analysis, control, or audit for at least 3 years.
- University education (in the field of Economics, Finance).
- Good understanding of accounting principles.
- Analytical mindset, accuracy, ability to handle complex stakeholder requests.
- Positive attitude, openness, practical approach, and strong focus on results.
- Excellent English and good Lithuanian knowledge.
- Strong MS Excel skills. Experience with Qlikview, Axapta, SAP, SQL is an advantage.
