Business Analyst for Maintenance Division

Main Purpose of the Job

The goal of the Business Analysis unit is to ensure timely and quality analysis and reporting to the CEO and other decision-makers. We are looking a Business analyst for the Girteka for Maintenance division, who will be responsible for cost analysis, building budgets, comparing with actuals, analyzing deviations and multiple business KPI‘s, and handling various ad hoc tasks.  The key of the position is to dig deep and analyze the sources of variations, identify weaknesses in processes or business performance, as well as building and tracking business KPI‘s, participate in new ERP implementation. As part in your job – you will be regularly communicating with business managers, business process units,  accountants and many other colleagues at Girteka. 

What can you expect your day to look like?

• Providing support and advice to functional managers on financial and budgetary matters. 
• Preparing monthly result visualizations with insights. 
• Helping with ad-hoc calculations. 
• Ensuring quality and on-time monthly reporting, including accruals. 
• Taking part in SAP system implementation projects and regular improvements. 
• Working with large databases, processing and organizing data. 
• Evaluating existing processes, searching for optimization opportunities, and implementing improvements. 
• Investigating and solving data issues: data quality, data discrepancies, and missing data. 
• Taking an active part in the budgeting process. 

What do we expect from you?

• University education (in the fields of Economics, Finance, Mathematics). 
• Work experience in financial analysis or controlling for at least 2-3 years (experience in transportation or production company is an advantage). 
• Good English and Lithuanian knowledge. Russian language is an advantage. 
• Strong MS Excel skills. Experience with Microsoft AX, SAP, BI, SQL - an advantage. 
• Good skills in analyzing big data sets. 
• Analytical mindset, accuracy, and ability to handle complex stakeholder requests. 
• Positive attitude, openness, practical approach, and a strong focus on results. 
• Curiosity and willingness to learn.
