Bank Accounting Manager

The Bank Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely processing of bank-related transactions for Lithuanian, Polish, Latvian, Spanish, Netherlands and German entities, ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. The role includes leading a team of 7 bank accounts, ensuring efficient task allocation, team development, and supporting financial reporting processes.

What can you expect your day to look like?

• Lead and manage the bank accounting team (7 employees), including task allocation, performance management, and development.
• Oversee daily recording and reconciliation of bank transactions across multiple accounts. 
• Ensure timely and accurate bank reconciliations and resolution of discrepancies.
• Monitor cash movements and ensure proper accounting treatment.
• Collaborate with treasury, AP, AR, and other finance teams to ensure alignment and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
• Assist with audits by providing required documentation and explanations

What do we expect from you?

• At least 3 years of experience in accounting. Experience working in a group of companies or a shared services environment - is an advantage.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities. At least 1 year of experience in leading or supervising accounting teams.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• High sense of responsibility, ability to effectively organize time
• Strong Excel skills. Experience in SAP or Axapta considered an advantage.
• Good knowledge of English and Lithuanian.

• Base monthly salary: from 2930€ to 4000€ (before tax). The specific salary offered will depend on the candidate‘s experience, competencies displayed and suitability to the requirements of the position.
