Accountant Team Lead (Accounts Payable)

What can you expect your day to look like?
- Review and verify the accuracy of Accounts Payable team transactions to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Supervise the AP team, including training, performance reviews, and career development.
- Prepare accurate Accounts Payable team KPI reports and analyses.
- Monitor workflow and ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Support process improvements and provide recommendations to enhance AP team efficiency.
- Serve as a key point of contact for complex queries and issue resolution within the team.
- Solve complex payment and vendor issues.
- Drive process improvements and support new projects.
- Foster relationships across departments.
What do we expect from you?
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualifications) in finance, accounting, or related field.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written communication.
- +2 years of experience in Accounting and Finance in a similar position.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Strategic, strong analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, advantage SAP knowledge.
- Strong communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Base monthly salary: from €2760 to €4140 (before tax). The specific salary offered will depend on the candidate‘s experience, competencies displayed and suitability to the position's requirements.
