Sales Operations Team Lead

Main Purpose of the Job

At Girteka GBS, we are looking for a Sales Operations Team Lead. The main purpose of this role is to design, lead, and optimize a customer-facing operation that converts service interactions into sales opportunities while maintaining high customer satisfaction and operational efficiency  The position focuses on achieving personal sales targets, developing new business, maintaining strong customer relationships, and resolving specific customer issues. Implements and supports the company's sales and customer service strategy by organising the work of the team, ensuring the motivation of team members and a productive working environment.

What can you expect your day to look like?

• Organise and manage team workload, ensuring efficiency, proper staffing, and coverage; escalate resource gaps when needed.
• Set targets, monitor performance, and ensure achievement of team and individual objectives.
• Drive sales performance by implementing plans for existing customers and supporting new business development.
• Collaborate with Sales to strengthen customer relationships and identify value-added opportunities.
• Delegate tasks, set clear deadlines, and ensure high-quality service delivery with continuous improvement actions.
• Monitor KPIs (e.g., load/unload, quality, performance) and ensure timely freight movement and issue resolution.
• Manage client relationships, gather feedback (including NPS), and implement improvements based on insights.
• Oversee financial aspects, including payment control, debt prevention, and revenue collection for additional costs.
• Lead team development through recruitment, training, performance reviews, feedback, and fostering a positive team culture.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and handle non-routine tasks or escalations as needed.

Base monthly salary: From 6950 GEL to 8690 GEL/Monthly (before tax). The specific salary offered will depend on the candidate's experience, competencies displayed and suitability to the requirements of the position.
