Girteka Business Services (GBS) - shared services organization in Georgia, Tbilisi - was established in 2022 with a strategic goal to hire local talent to meet the Girteka Group’s business growth needs internationally. We believe the extended talent pool in Georgia will allow Girteka to increase its operational capabilities in Europe, Nordics and internationally.

We are looking for a driven and proactive SAP Consultant to join our team. The role is based in Georgia, Tbilisi and reposts to ERP Operations Manager.  As GBS is rapidly growing across various business units, this role will suit someone who loves to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, and is capable of delivering effective, personable services to businesses to help drive the business growth forward through its rising talents.  

Girteka Logistics, the biggest European FTL (Full Truck Load) transportation company, is partnering with SAP. SAP solution will affect and change majority of the Girteka Business processes, by implementing solutions as – SAP S/4 HANA (covering services TM, EM, SD, MM, FI/CO, VMS, EAM, etc.), SAP Data Warehouse Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Success Factors. Here at Girteka Logistics, we seek excellence in everything we do, so to ensure excellence in operations we are searching for SAP SD sales and distribution, who will be responsible for SAP S/4 HANA  support activities (Service request fulfillment, Incident handling, Continuous improvement, etc.) with focus on specific modules.

Your Responsibilities

•  Ensure Service request fulfillment
•  Ensure E2E Incident resolution
•  Raise Problem record for repeating incidents and ensure E2E resolution
•  Raise Continuous improvements for SAP Service operations, to decrease the flow of the incidents and service request, improve the End users experience
•  Cooperate with the Delivery Teams and Business stakeholders, Key and End users
•  Write functional specifications, make respective changes and interacting with ABAP Developers to fix an incident
•  Cooperate with users regarding improving users’ actions in the system so that data is input into SAP in an accurate and consistent manner
•  Act as the gateway between users and SAP Delivery team managing the interaction  regarding specific incidents and changes

Our expectations

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Previous SAP experience >3 years  SD/MM must

• Knowledge in general SAP best practices

• Knowledge in ITIL practices is a plus

• ABAP debugging skills, experience with xml files is preferable, but not a must

• Fluency in English language - verbal and written communication, including technical writing

• Higher education in IT, business management, data science, financial economics or relevant

• Base monthly salary: Range 4720-5900 GEL GROSS. The specific salary offered will depend on the candidate‘s experience, competencies displayed, and suitability to the requirements of the position. Remuneration and variable extras offered will be based on experience, competence and compliance with the other requirements for the position.
