PnC and Payroll Specialist
Main Purpose of the Job
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive PnC Operations and Payroll Specialist to join our People & Culture team in Tbilisi, Georgia. In this role, you will support daily HR operations and ensure accurate payroll processes, from employee documentation to salary reporting and compliance. Your work will help create a reliable and efficient HR foundation as we continue to grow.
This position is based in Tbilisi, Georgia, within Girteka Business Services (GBS) - a shared services center established in 2022 to support Girteka Group’s global expansion. By building a strong talent base in Georgia, GBS enhances Girteka’s operational capabilities across Europe and the Nordics. As part of our growing team, you will play a key role in improving HR processes, ensuring compliance, and driving operational excellence across the organization.
What can you expect your day to look like?
- Payroll Coordination: Maintain payroll templates and work with the external provider to ensure timely, accurate processing.
- Salary & Compensation: Manage final compensation and daily payroll tasks.
- Employee Support: Serve as the first contact for payroll-related questions.
- HR Support: Administer employee benefits like insurance and gym memberships.
- Lifecycle Management: Handle hiring, terminations, contract changes, and internal transfers.
- Documentation & Records: Maintain employee records and timesheets; prepare related documents.
- Compliance & Audits: Support audits and inspections in line with Georgian labor laws.
- Reporting: Produce regular and ad hoc payroll and employee data reports.
- HR Reporting Tools: Work with the team to improve reporting for better decision-making.
What do we expect from you?
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 years in HR operations with a strong focus on payroll administration.
- Legal Knowledge: Thorough understanding of Georgian labor and tax legislation, particularly payroll-related aspects.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in both English and Georgian, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
- Analytical Thinking: Detail-oriented with a systematic and data-driven approach to solving problems.
