Junior Accountant

We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented leader to join our team as a Junior Accountant. In this role, you will perform professional accounting work including compilation, consolidation and analysis of financial data. Position requires an understanding of accounting fundamentals and principles of bookkeeping. Duties include any or all of the following: ledgers and preparation of journal entries, fixed asset or inventory accounting, preparation of trial balance or financial statements, cost accounting, bank account reconciliation.
This position is based in Tbilisi, Georgia, within Girteka Business Services (GBS) - a shared services center established in 2022 to support Girteka Group’s global expansion. By building a strong talent base in Georgia, GBS enhances Girteka’s operational capabilities across Europe and the Nordics. As part of this fast-growing organization, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence and strengthening our customer service strategy.
What can you expect your day to look like?
- Process procurement transactions with precision and ensure meticulous documentation for seamless operations.
- Maintain standardized accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records
- Reconcile balances with suppliers to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
- Managing financial aspects related to business trips
- Administer fuel write-offs and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations
- Accurately register inventory and prepare essential documentation for stock management
- Assist in the preparation of reports required for audits, providing necessary documentation and support as needed.

- Proficient written and verbal skills in English.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to navigate quickly through large data flows

Base monthly salary: from 2860 to 3330 GEL Gross/monthly. The specific salary offered will depend on the candidate‘s experience, competencies displayed and suitability to the requirements of the position.
