Junior Accountant

Main Purpose of the Job

Performs professional accounting work including compilation, consolidation and analysis of financial data. Requires an understanding of accounting fundamentals and principles and bookkeeping experience. May include any or all of the following: ledgers and preparation of journal entries, fixed asset or inventory accounting, preparation of trial balance or financial statements, cost accounting, bank account reconciliation.

What can you expect your day to look like?

• Process incoming vendor invoices with precision and attention to detail;
• Ensure timely payments to vendors, maintaining strong relationships;
• Manage vendor records and resolve any discrepancies that arise;
• Communicate effectively with suppliers to address queries and concerns;
• Meet deadlines for period end closing and other requirements;
• Drive continuous improvements in AP processes to enhance efficiency;
• Take on additional tasks delegated by the Team Lead or Line Manager

What do we expect from you?

• Education in finance, economics, accounting, or business administration.
• Relevant work experience in accounting or a similar field.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Ability to adapt quickly and handle large data flows efficiently.
• Analytical thinking, responsibility, and flexibility are key.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

Base monthly salary: from 2700 Gel - 3370 Gel (Before tax). The specific salary offered will depend on the candidate‘s experience, competencies displayed and suitability to the requirements of the position.
