Junior Accountant

Main Purpose of the Job

Performs professional accounting work including compilation, consolidation and analysis of financial data. Requires an understanding of accounting fundamentals and principles and bookkeeping experience. May include any or all of the following: ledgers and preparation of journal entries, fixed asset or inventory accounting, preparation of trial balance or financial statements, cost accounting, bank account reconciliation.

What can you expect your day to look like?

  • Process procurement transactions with precision and ensure meticulous documentation for seamless operations. 
  • Maintain standardized accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records
  • Reconcile balances with suppliers to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
  • Managing financial aspects related to business trips
  • Administer fuel write-offs and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations
  • Accurately register inventory and prepare essential documentation for stock management
  • Assist in the preparation of reports required for audits, providing necessary documentation and support as needed.

  • Education background in finance, economics, accounting, or business administration
  • Proficient written and verbal skills in English.Strong knowledge of MS Office
  • Ability to navigate quickly through large data flows

  • Base monthly salary: 2500 - 3000 GEL Gross. The specific salary offered will depend on the candidate‘s experience, competencies displayed, and suitability to the requirements of the position.
