Refrigeration Unit Technician

Main Purpose of the Job

Ensure the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration units on trucks, guaranteeing their safe and efficient operation.

What can you expect your day to look like?

Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot refrigeration units on trucks.

Perform routine maintenance, including checking refrigerant levels, electrical connections, and mechanical components.

Repair or replace defective parts to ensure optimal functioning of refrigeration units.

Test refrigeration systems after maintenance or repair to confirm proper operation.

Keep accurate records of all maintenance, inspections, and repairs.

Coordinate with logistics and fleet staff regarding the status of vehicles and refrigeration units.

Follow safety protocols when working with electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant systems.

What do we expect from you?

Strong technical skills in refrigeration systems and truck-mounted units.

Ability to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues.

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining system efficiency.

Compliance with safety regulations and internal service procedures.

Good communication skills for coordinating with fleet and service staff.

Relevant certifications or training in refrigeration systems (preferred).
