Junior Transport Control Specialist (Night Shift)

What can you expect your day to look like?

• Ensure effective communication: Provide drivers or other relevant personnel with timely updates on important changes during cargo transportation, as per the transport manager’s instructions.

• Monitor truck arrivals: Ensure that assigned trucks reach the customer’s specified location on time and accurately estimate their arrival at the destination.

• Regulatory knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of driver work and rest time regulations.

• Data analysis: Systematize and analyze incoming information regarding truck movement.

• Collaboration: Inform commercial or planning colleagues (night shift) about any operational changes.

• Driver support: Assist drivers with cargo transportation and related issues.

• Logistics coordination: Arrange ferry or train bookings and gather relevant schedule information according to the transport manager’s instructions.

• Safety supervision: Monitor and address safety concerns, such as unsafe parking, open trailer doors, or activated alarm systems.

• Issue resolution: Handle any challenges related to cargo monitoring.

• Seamless workflow: Cooperate with day-shift colleagues for smooth handovers and work transitions.
